Aphrodite by Pierre Louys

Extensive red rot and spine damage to this 1926 copy of french erotica. Red rot was treated with Klucel G. The head and tail of the spine were repaired with black leather, pared down to 0.2mm. The label was removed and cleaned. Leather and marbled papers were waxed with SC7400 cream. A slip case was made to protect the book a bit more.
